What should I do with my life?

What should I do with my life? Everyone asks this question at some point. Most times it comes when life is long and ahead of you and the world is ready to be conquered. Other times it comes after a CHANGE, when things haven't quite gone as expected and we find ourselves seeking new direction, something different, something better.

We all have DREAMS, goals and visions for our life. Like a picture painted in our mind.

That picture may be beautiful. When you share it with your friends they all ooh and ahh at its grandness, the color, the vibrancy and emotions it invokes. But honestly, it's just a simple version of what GOD has in mind for us. It's merely a child's drawing and his version is the Michelangelo.

So when asking what should I do with my life, doesn't it make sense to ask God the creator of life?

Before you were born he knew you, he made you! He knows the PURPOSE for which you were created. He knows what would make you happiest. He knows how and where you can have the biggest IMPACT in the world.

At Transitions Church we want you to be who God created you to be. We believe that the greatest satisfaction in life, the greatest happiness, fulfillment and impact on your life comes from seeing God's vision for your life, and pursuing it relentlessly.

Ask God what his vision is for your life today. You'll be so glad you did.

God is the one who began this good work in you, and I am certain that he won't stop before it is complete on the day that Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6

Vision–a revelation from God; something presented to the mind; the object of sight.

Destiny–the state or condition appointed or predetermined; invincible necessity; ultimate fate; to set, ordain, or appoint to use.

Why Transitions?

Why "Transitions" Church?

Webster's defines a transition as a passage from one form, state, style, or place to another. A transition is CHANGE. There are all types of changes.

Change can be the natural transitions in one's life, like graduating from college, getting married or having your first child. Changes can be difficult such as the the loss of a loved one, or loss of a job.

Change can be gradual, like the lazy days of summer. Then then there are life TRANFORMING changes. Like Paul's transformation on the Road to Damascus.

One thing is certain, change is inevitable. Life's transitions are events, experiences, realization, MOMENTS in our lives that deeply and dramatically change us forever. We all will find ourselves in a state of transition at any given point in our lives. We at Transitions Church understand that, and our goal is to support each other through those passages by sharing, praying, caring for one another and GROWING in our knowledge of GOD and his direction for our lives.

At Transitions Church everyone is accepted as they are, and everyone is expected to BECOME who God created them to be. It is where we challenge each other to live the life God intended us to live.

Jesus came to this world to give us SALVATION so that we may live a new life and live it abundantly. That is the goal of this ministry.

You must display a new nature because you are a new person, created in God’s likeness-righteous, holy and true.” Ephesians 4:24

God changing the world through you

The motto at Transitions Church is God changing the world through you.

Early in the book of Acts, we find the apostles Peter and John coming up against opposition for speaking about the salvation that Jesus had come to this world to offer us all. The scriptures tell us that the believers gathered together and prayed for BOLDNESS. They prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill them. And with new boldness, not only did they share the good news of SALVATION, they also shared the healing and miraculous signs and wonders possible in the NAME OF JESUS.

THEY BECAME the hands and feet of the Holy Spirit, instruments in building the kingdom of God here on earth.

TRANSITIONS CHURCH IS BEING FOUNDED ON THAT BELIEF.

We boldly ask God to fully develop the talents and abilities in each one of you. YOU WERE CREATED FOR A PURPOSE, in this time and this place. We believe that when you allow the Holy Spirit to work through you to be who God created you to be, not only will your life be a witness and glory to God, but your deeds and talents and abilities will be instrumental in changing this world for the better.

God doesn't need us to do this work, but HE WANTS YOU to be a part of this work because he loves you and believes in you.

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his
possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great
power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus,
and much grace was upon them all. Acts 4:32-35

ARE YOU READY TO CHANGE THE WORLD?
